THEY
A short project done under the direction of Matt Sindall and Sarngsan Na Sootorn were I was left free to work around the word « trace ».
I decided to work from the supernatural multicolour traces in northern winter nights : the northern lights.
Using the simple means I had around, I wanted to create a landscape with the same atmosphere, something that would take the viewer away from the every day reality, to experience a moment of magical colours.
By playing with coloured strings and light, I starting questioning the use of colours as a material volume, instead of as a decorative surface.
